Ontstekingsmodule
Een gloeistroomcontrole wordt in de autobranche een gloeioog genoemd. Wanneer de auto gestart wordt komt er stroom vrij richting het gloeioog, deze moet er voor zorgen dat de weerstand richting de motor gaat, waardoor deze gaat draaien. Een gloeioog staat ook wel bekend als een geleider of afstoter. Dit komt omdat het gloeioog niets minder doet dan de stroom doorsturen of afvlakken. Een gloeistroomcontrole is een klein onderdeel dat vatbaar is voor een overload aan stroom, vaak kan dit gloeioog dit verwerken en/of opslaan.
